The Kikusui PWR1600L is a 1600 W wide-range CV/CC automatic crossover DC power supply, designed to combine a wide range of voltages and currents within a single output power rating — making it equivalent to three to six conventional fixed-range DC power supplies in one instrument.

The PWR1600L (L type) covers 0–80 V and 0–100 A within its 1600 W power envelope, with seamless operation from 80 V / 20 A down to 16 V / 100 A. The L type provides an extended operating area capable of outputting up to 160% of the rated current, enabling continuous output up to 120% and intermittent (up to 10 minutes) output up to 160% — ideal for motor start-up testing and high-inrush applications. Multiple units can be connected in parallel for up to 8 kW total output, or in series for up to 160 V. Standard TP-BUS digital communication and a comprehensive J1 analogue control interface provide full remote control capability. Protection functions include OVP, OCP, over-power, over-temperature, and power limit. CE marked and Made in Japan.
