The Raytek Raynger 3i Series is a range of advanced handheld non-contact infrared thermometers designed to overcome the limitations of contact thermometers in manufacturing plants and industrial environments. The 3i thermometer compensates for energy reflected by the background around the target, allowing accurate measurement even when the measured area is reflecting energy from nearby objects with higher temperatures — for example, inside a furnace.

The LRSC (Long Range, Scope) model is optimised for maintenance and quality control applications requiring measurement of elevated or distant targets, such as electrical connectors on towers, overhead equipment, and hard-to-reach process points. The telescopic scope sighting system lets the operator see exactly what is being measured through the reticule.

With a choice of spectral responses, temperature ranges, laser and scope sighting options, and on-board datalogging capabilities, the Raytek 3i series meets the individual requirements of demanding users across utilities, electrical maintenance, plant maintenance, paper production, fire safety, and general industrial applications.
